About the event
Indulge in an unforgettable evening of unexpected and delicious sake and cheese pairings. Our five-course sake and cheese tasting pairs artisanal sake with exceptional cheeses from around the world—each combination crafted to surprise, delight, and reveal unexpected harmony.
The tasting will be guided by two experts. Pique-Nique's Chief Cheese Officer and Owner, Nathalie Barge, and Yuto Someya, the Western Regional Manager for Joto Sake. With nearly a decade in the alcohol industry and a WSET Level 3 in Japanese Sake, Yuto draws on his bicultural background – born in Japan and raised in Southern California – to connect Japanese sake with new audiences. He lives in Orange County with his wife and two children.
